Curriculum Model 2022-2023

Key Stage 3 students have 25 hours of directed learning per week

Key Stage 4 students have 16 hours of directed learning with an additional 9 hours of option subject learning per week

Key Stage 5 students have on average 18 hours of learning with an additional hour for Academic Tutoring per week

ADT: Rotating curriculum comprising Art, Food Technology, Graphics, Product Design and Textiles.

MFL: Year 7 students will study either French or Spanish throughout KS3. Y9 students who wish to continue to study their KS3 language may have an additional hour, those not wishing to continue studying a language at KS4 will have an additional hour of science.

Performing Arts: Rotation of Drama and Music.

Science: Some classes will have an additional hour of science in year 9 in preparation for Triple Award GCSE sciences.
