Hall Cross took over 50 students, a mixture of both A-Level and GCSE students from the ICA Perform department to West Yorkshire Playhouse to attend a fantastic production of ‘The Tin Drum’ inspired by Gunter Grass’ epic novel. The production was created by the extremely exciting and innovative   Kneehigh, who use a mixture of physical theatre, live music and incredible puppetry to tell their story of Oskar. For both our GCSE and A-Level students the production will be used to support their theory work ahead of their upcoming exams within the Live Theatre Review section of the paper. It will also be used to inspire the use of stylised movement for their practice for their devised performance.
