Business A Level

About the Course

Students will be introduced to business through building knowledge of core business concepts and applying them to business contexts to develop a broad understanding of how businesses work. Students are encouraged to use an enquiring, critical and thoughtful approach to the study of business, to understand that business behaviour can be studied from a range of perspectives and to challenge assumptions.

Beyond the Classroom

Booster classes are run regularly each week for students that feel they require extra support. We also recommend that students take an interest in current affairs and benefit from engaging in wider reading. A reading list is made available to students and links to sign up to appropriate organisations to receive regular news and exam technique advice relevant to the course. Students also get the opportunity to attend a full day Revision Booster Session in year 13, in Leeds, organised by Tutor2U in collaboration with Edexcel.
