Year 11 Careers Day Arrangements:

Students have selected either sixth form, college or apprenticeships for their careers day. The aim of the day is for students to experience what their potential post 16 destination will entail and support them in making their next steps a positive one.

Instructions for the day:

Sixth Form – Students must arrive at school for 9am and will need to go to the main hall. Students are not expected to wear uniform but will need to dress in business attire, smart trousers or skirt, smart shoes and shirt or top. Students will have full use of the common room however they must remain on site at all times. Their day will finish at 15:05.

College & Apprenticeships – Students are expected to arrive at school at 10am and go to their designated classroom (information given in school). Students will attend career lessons periods 2 & 3. At 1pm students will walk to the Doncaster College with staff where they will experience a taster session in their chosen subject. Students are not expected to wear uniform but should follow the guidelines given in school dependent upon their taster session instructions. Students will be dismissed from the college at 3pm.
