Students from Hall Cross Academy, Balby Carr Community Academy, Campsmount Academy, 412 Dance Theatre and The University of Lincoln performed at NEXUS collaborative dance platform on Tuesday January 10th 2017.

A performance piece was also specially created for the show by guest performer Rachel Jacobs, former student at CAPA College.

Miss Geldart from Balby Carr said that “the students loved being able to perform at a different venue and for a new audience as this challenged them and took them out of their comfort zone!”

Kirsty Russell from the University of Lincoln said “Our students really loved bringing their work to you and seeing the work from the other young people. Some of our students knew those in the other works, so it was very lovely. Your students were also a credit to you, so please do pass on my thanks and congratulations to them also.”

Campsmount teacher Miss Kettle said “Thank you again for last night the students all had a great time and were also very inspired by all the other pieces too. I thought the event was great very well organised and it was lovely to see such a variety of dance and students. We would love to take part again in the future.”
