As part of the Academy’s Arts Mark status and commitment to building links with schools and institutions in the area, especially those at which our students train, we are hosting a dance class and networking event for all teachers of Dance and/or PE followed by light refreshments.  This event will take place on Monday May 15th from 5.00pm – 7.00pm at Hall Cross Academy Upper School Dance Studio, Doncaster (DN1 2HY).

The class will be led by professional performer and choreographer Zoe Bradley. Zoe is a local dance artist who graduated from the Northern School of Contemporary Dance in 2015.

She recently graduated from JV2, Jasmin Vardimon’s professional development diploma.  She has worked with Hawk Dance Theatre, Odette Hughes (Wayne McGregor) and Jamaal Burkmar, trained with Hofesh Shechter Dance Company and participated in Akram Khan’s AKX course.  During the session, Zoe will focus on developing floorwork and partnering skills.  The class is suitable for KS4-5 Teachers of Dance and/or PE and freelance dance teachers interested in further developing their skills. We ask that all participants pay £5 to cover the cost of hiring in an external practitioner and providing refreshments.
