About the Course
GCSE Health and Social Care is a subject that develops knowledge and understanding of the many factors that influence a person’s development. Through the use of case studies you will gain an awareness of the complex nature of human relationships and the various care services that exist to support individuals.

Your Future
We will accept A* - B at GCSE to be able to continue to study at A level. Health and Social Care is a popular subject to study at A level and many students who choose this subject will go on to work within the care sector.
There are many university courses for which Health and Social Care is an excellent foundation. These include: nursing, midwifery, early years care, social work and other care related careers.
